Don’t forget, today several area schools, including Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn, will be sending their speech teams to Boone High School for District Individual Speech Competition.

Speech Coaches Wendy Bollhoefer from Perry and Jacque Seidl from ADM have been preparing their students for the individual competition, and they’re both hoping their preparation will be enough to get them on to state. Entries that earn a “I” rating at districts will advance to the State Competition, which will be held on March 10th at Nevada High School. The District Competition is open to the public, and there is a suggested donation of $3 per person to attend. All proceeds go to the host school.
