Two individuals were arrested late Friday night on felony drug charges after a traffic stop in Stuart.
According to the Stuart Police Department, officers stopped a vehicle that was traveling the wrong way down a one-way street. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed over one pound of marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Shortly after, search warrants were executed at a home in Stuart and another home in rural Adair County. Additional marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and prescription drugs were recovered in the search. Officers arrested two suspects on felony drug charges, and additional charges may arise during the investigation.
