Greene County is a member of the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference, and although the Rams’ basketball seasons are over, the conference is represented at both this week’s girls State tournament and next week’s boys’ State tournament.

North Polk (Alleman) (21-3) plays this week in the Class 3A girls’ State tournament and the South Hamilton (Jewell) boys will play in the State tournament next week.

Both Greene County teams went 0-2 this season against the NP girls and SH boys. The Rams were 5-16 in girls’ basketball and 12-11 on the boys’ side.
