The accolades continue to roll in for Dallas County Hospital in Perry. This time, it was the Environmental Services (EVS) Department that received the recognition.
According to patient satisfaction surveys compiled over a three month period, the department received 100% top box scores. After treatment at the hospital, patients are asked to rate their experiences, including the cleanliness of inpatient rooms during their stay, which is handled by EVS. The top box scores indicate that in all surveys returned, every patient gave the department the highest score possible for three straight months.
DCH administrators were proud of the results and the work of the EVS department. They said it’s nice to hear that patients in a stressful situation regarding their health felt the hospital was doing a good job of ensuring a safe and healing environment.
