A deputy investigated a IRS scam in the 1100 block of Q Avenue. We took around a total of ten calls about this scam. We also had several deputies receive the same call demanding money or they would come and arrest or seize property.

A deputy assisted with putting a cow back in the fence I the 1500 block of W Avenue.

Aa deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest at the Wild Rose Casino. John Martinez 23 of Deloit was arrested for a Calhoun County arrest warrant. During the arrest the deputy discovered drug paraphernalia and suspected controlled substances. Randa Pederson 20 of Lake City was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

John Martinez 23 of Deloit was booked into the jail on a Calhoun County arrest warrant.

A deputy removed a dead deer from the roadway on N Avenue and 330th Street.

Randa Pederson 20 of Lake City was booked into the jail for possession of drug paraphernalia.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
