The Perry Chamber of Commerce is looking to do more educational programming for their members and the community, and that will start with their first Lunch and Learn coming later this month.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says they will be hosting the event along with Perry Economic Development, and it will focus on energy efficiency. “We are bringing in MidAmerican Energy and Alliant Energy to come and talk to businesses about how they can ‘Save some green while being more green.’ And so just learning about energy efficiencies that they can do in their place of business, and then also their homes too. So if you’re looking to be more green or just kind of cut down on energy costs in general, this is a pretty good program to take part in.”

The Lunch and Learn will be held at noon on Friday, March 23rd at Hotel Pattee. A free lunch will be provided to attendees, and registration is required. Pasutti says you can register by calling or emailing the Chamber, or by stopping in their office.
