Don’t forget, tomorrow is the beginning of Daylight Saving Time.

At 2 a.m. Sunday morning, the time will “spring forward” an hour, shifting from Central Standard Time to Daylight Time. Perry Fire Chief Chris Hinds reminds people that the time change is a good reminder to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, which he says should be done twice a year. Daylight Saving Time will end on November 4th this year.
