Panorama-Panthers-Pic-300x175The Panorama School Board will meet twice Monday evening. The Board will begin a work session at 6pm to discuss the 2018-2019 certified budget. No formal action will be taken during the work session.

The regular meeting will then take place at 6:30pm with a public hearing on the proposed 2018-2019 school calendar. Among the proposed changes is a modification to vacation time for spring break.

The Board is expected to set the public hearing date for the 2018-19 budget for April 9th at 6pm. Other discussion items include partial self funding and general obligation bonds through Piper Jaffray. The Board will then seek formal action on directing the sale of $2.28 million in general obligation bonds and authorizing the redemption of outstanding general obligation bonds.

Other action items include: a teacher sharing agreement, an auditor proposal, approving school make-up days due to weather, and various fundraisers and trip requests. Both meetings will take place in the District Board Room.
