In case you haven’t already, make sure you set your clocks forward an hour today, as it’s the beginning of Daylight Saving Time.

At 2 a.m. this morning, the time shifted from Central Standard Time to Daylight Time. Perry Fire Chief Chris Hinds reminds people that the time change is a good reminder to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, which he says should be done twice a year. Daylight Saving Time will end on November 4th this year.
