baseballPanora Parks and Recreation is getting ready for the summer sports season. They’re kicking off their preparations with a donation drive for funds to purchase two scoreboards at Michael Mills Park. One each would be placed for the baseball and softball fields.

Those who make a one-time donation will have their name displayed on the west wall of the concession stand. There are also additional benefits for the top two tiers of donations. Participants who contribute $500 or more will have their name on the wall in the Gold Louisville Slugger Club. They will also be able to contribute a design of their choice on a 4’x6’ banner to be hung on one of the field’s infield fence. Similar benefits are available for the first six who donate $750 or more.

All donations go to the purchase of scoreboards first and then to updating equipment and field needs. Donations can be dropped off at Panora City Hall or mailed to PO Box 98, Panora. You can also donate on their GoFundMe page, which can be accessed below:
