The Perry Chamber of Commerce will be holding their third Ambassadors meeting this Thursday, and any Chamber member interested in joining is welcome.

New Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the Ambassadors are important to her and the Board, as they serve as both volunteers and the eyes and ears of the Chamber. “So the Ambassadors program is just another way for Chamber members to get more involved with what the Chamber is doing, and learning what’s going on. And being a voice as a member to kind of help guide us to what we’re doing with programs and events.”

Since Pasutti is still new to her position, she hasn’t had a chance to interact directly with the Ambassadors, but it’s something she’s looking forward to. “This first month is really about getting to know people, and the community as a whole. So this is just another chance to meet and get to know some of the heavy-hitters with the Chamber, that really care about moving things forward. Besides just being members, but also being really active, too. So getting to know those folks so that we can work together in the future!”

The Chamber Ambassadors meet the third Thursday of every month at noon in the Towncraft Building. To learn more about this and other Chamber events, listen to last Friday’s Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County program at RaccoonValleyRadio.com.
