The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The Board approved temporary appointments for Dr. David Ahrens and Dr. Steven Bascom as County Medical Examiners. The appointments are effective until Dr. Josh Strehle is certified to take over the position. These appointments do not affect Ahrens and Bascom’s current private practice in Guthrie Center.

County Conservation Director Joe Hanner and Engineer Josh Sebern discussed general updates with the Board. No formal action was taken after either report. Finally the Board discussed pursuing fence repair plans at the County Farm with Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson.
