Despite missing half of his senior season with an upper body injury, Perry senior Mark Campos did enough in the games he played to catch the attention of a community college in Council Bluffs. Iowa Western Community College offered Campos a letter of intent to play football next fall for the Rievers. Campos was a two way starter for Perry the past couple of years and led the team in tackles during his junior campaign.
“It all happened really fast,” stated Campos talking to KDLS’s Shawn Kenney. “They contacted me really late in the recruiting cycle and I took one trip to Council Bluffs and really liked what I saw.”
Campos will report to Iowa Western this summer to begin weight training.
