acgcACGC senior Caden Wardyn is wasting no time in his final year as a Charger. The boys basketball MVP went the distance in the long jump yesterday, finishing in fifth place at the Iowa State University High School Indoor Classic in Ames. Wardyn finished with his longest jump at 19-6.25 and was the top finisher in all of Class 2A.

The 3200 meter run also saw two Chargers in the top 35. State Cross Country medalist Noah Nelsen placed 23rd at 10:23.22 and senior Clay Billheimer finished in 34th at 10:41.8. Nine individual athletes and two teams competed yesterday. The first regular season meet is in Audubon on March 27th.
