The logo and theme for this year’s Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson has been announced.

Greene County Chamber and Tourism Interim Executive Director Michael Reese says the theme is “Carnival Lights, Rocking Nights.”

“This is a complement to our leadership this year, as far as the theme. We’re also celebrating the fact that ‘The Bushmen’ are being inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and noting that. In addition, we have a substantial musical act coming Saturday night (of the festival), Arch Allies will be here. So we’re excited to make the festival a little bit bigger.”

Wild Rose Marketing Database Specialist Emily Neese is the chair of the festival. She says the carnival portion of the theme signifies the return of a carnival. The logo is in the shape of a guitar that extends into the neck of the guitar into the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower. Wild Rose Graphic Designer Krystal Schulte created the logo.

The 38th Annual Bell Tower Festival is  June 8th through the 10th.
