The City of Guthrie Center is currently looking for candidates to fill several positions.

As summer draws closer, the City is looking for summer help. Positions include: Pool Manager, Assistant Pool Manager, Group Swim Lesson Leader, Lifeguards, Concession Stand Workers, and Water Aerobics Instructor. All lifeguard applicants must be able to demonstrate competency as a lifeguard. Applicants will also be required to show ability to complete successful saves and successfully backboard a victim prior to being hired. Applications for these positions are due to City Hall by noon on Friday, April 13th.

Guthrie Center Municipal Utilities is also currently taking applications for three summer maintenance/mowing positions. These applications are due to City Hall by noon on Friday, April 6th. Contact City Hall for more information.
