Dallas County Conservation invites high school students interested in joining this summer’s Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Trek to an informational meeting on April 5th.
The Conservation Board met with schools in Dallas County earlier this year to give them general information on the annual summer backpacking trip. Any parents or students with questions about the trek or who would like to sign up is encouraged to attend the orientation meeting. The meeting is designed to provide potential participants and their parents an opportunity to discuss the details of the trek, in order to figure out if the challenge is for them. It will be held April 5th from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Kuehn Conservation Area.
Registration is required to attend, and can be done by calling the Forest Park Museum at 515-465-3577.
