Don’t forget, children and families are invited to take part in the annual Perry Parks and Recreation Department’s Easter Egg Hunt today at Wiese Park.
The event starts at 10 a.m. with an appearance by the Easter Bunny, who will be on hand to visit with kids and take pictures. The hunt will start at 10:30 a.m., with different sections for children age 2-4, 5-6, and 7-8, to make sure everyone has an equal chance to find treats. Some of the eggs even include prizes such as day passes to the McCreary Community Center. There is no cost to participate, though you should bring your own basket. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved into the McCreary Center gym.
