**Today’s Panorama boys golf meet versus Madrid and Ogden has been postponed due to weather.**
A new era of Panorama Panther boys golf begins today at their nationally recognized home course in Panora. The Lake Panorama National Golf Course will be the site of the 2018 opener for the Panthers as they host West Central Activites Conference members Madrid and Ogden in a league triangular. The meet will be the first time the Panorama Panthers boys golf program will compete since the retirement of long-time head coach Hal Rossow last summer. David Van Ahn has assumed the head coaching duties of the Panorama boys golf team, and he tells Raccoon Valley Radio this could be an eventful week for the squad. “On Thursday, we host a junior varsity meet (at Lake Panorama National Golf Course),” Van Ahn said, “On Friday, we got to Coon Rapids and play on their golf course. On Saturday, we go to Anita and play in the CAM Invitational, and we’ll take our JV and varsity team to the meet.”
The newest season of Panorama boys golf tees off at 4 p.m. from the Lake Panorama National Golf Course in Panora. Hear an interview with members of the Panorama boys golf team on the Karl Chevrolet of Stuart Guthrie County PM Sports Page, tonight at 6 p.m. on True Country K 107.9.
