There is a burn ban in place for Greene County.

Due to the high winds and number of fire calls, Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams has put a county-wide burn ban in place. This means that no one can do any burning of any kind until the ban has been lifted. Sheriff Williams appreciates everyone’s compliance. The burn ban is in place until further notice from the Sheriff’s office.

Raccoon Valley Radio will announce when the ban has been lifted.
