Late winter weather has caused slick road conditions Monday morning.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, most of the state roads in Greene County are partially snow covered, while most roads in Dallas County are partially ice covered. Roads in northern Guthrie County are partially covered with snow. County and city roads may be experiencing similar conditions as the DOT. Plow crews are out and motorists are reminded to give them plenty of room to remove ice and snow from the roads. Don’t crowd the plow.

Motorists are also urged to drive to the conditions of the road by slowing down and giving yourself plenty of time to get to your destination safely.
