Greene County scored its second straight 10-0 boys’ high school soccer victory when Carl Behne’s team took to the road for the first time this season. The Rams were winners over Nodaway Valley in Greenfield in a match that went just seven minutes and 33 seconds into the second half before being halted by the 10-goal margin rule. Greene County led 9-0 at halftime.

Brazilian foreign exchange student Leo Marques scored four goals, putting his season total for three games at 11 goals. Cael Fisher scored two goals, with one each by Yunior Carballo, Junior Gutierrez, Spanish foreign exchange student Luis Tuesta, and Isaiah Losee.

Coach Behne said he was very proud of the effort of all the boys. “It was nice to have six Rams on the board with goals. We will clean some things up at practice in preparation for our next match.”

Greene County plays in Grand Junction on Thursday vs. Ballard (Huxley) with the varsity contest at 5:30 p.m.
