A new childcare service in Perry will be opening its doors this Monday at First Presbyterian Church.
The church is calling it the “PRESBY” Childcare Center, and the idea came from a member of the congregation who said there was a need for more childcare options in Perry. PRESBY will be located in the church’s unused Sunday School wing, and they had to do a considerable amount of remodeling to bring it up to code with childcare facility standards. The center will be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., starting April 16th. Organizers wanted to keep it small, so there’s a maximum of 27 children who can be enrolled.
PRESBY will accept kids ages six-weeks through preschool for now, but could eventually branch out to school-aged children. For more information or to enroll your children, contact the center at 515-465-5918.
