Two Raccoon River Conference girls golf programs took on the River Valley Golf Course in Adel Thursday for a nine-hole league event. The Ballard Bombers came to Dallas County for a meet with the ADM Tigers. ADM won the team event with 220 points compared to Ballards 231. ADM senior Emily Neumann finished as the runner-up medalist of the event with 50 shots. Her and Ballard’s Lauren Smith carded identical numbers with Smith winning the tiebreaking playback hole. Senior Alyssa Pingel and freshman Anna West both finished nine holes of golf in 56 strokes while junior Morgan Wagoner closed the Tigers scoring with a 58. The ADM girls golf team resumes Raccoon River Conference play Monday against Bondurant-Farrar and Carroll. The three league teams will play nine holes at the Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona starting at 4 p.m.
