Greene County and Panorama split a non-conference girl/boy soccer twin bill on Thursday night in Panora. The Panthers won the girls’ contest 8-0 before the Rams, ranked number 14 in Class 1A, took the boys’ contest 10-0 by the 10 goal mercy rule with two minutes remaining in the second half. Brazilian foreign exchange student Leo Marques scored six times as the Rams improved to 6-1 on the season.

Coach Marilyn Tasler’s girls’ team fell to 0-3 and they’ve  scored just one girl in their first three games. The girls are at home in Grand Junction on Saturday at 11 a.m. vs. Logan-Magnolia.

The Rams play boys’ soccer tonight vs, Kuemper Catholic in Carroll at the Kuemper Fieldhouse on South Grant Road at 7 p.m.
