Parents of children who will be four-years-old on or before September 15th this year are invited to learn more about, and register for, the Perry preschool program this Tuesday.
Perry Elementary Assistant Principal Ryan Marzen says there are three preschools in Perry, including the Perry Child Development Center (PCDC), the Gingerbread House at St. Patrick’s Catholic School, and the Perry Early Learning Center at the elementary. Marzen invites any families in the area to learn more and see if preschool in Perry is right for them. “You come on in, and then we have a packet for them to fill out. In the packet, it’s just a lot of general information, such as birth date, name, age, all that good stuff. And there’ll be a short presentation, so they can kind of meet and greet some of the preschool teachers. At that time, we’ll also be able to start registering them to be able to choose their sites, based off availability. And then we can move forward with our preschool registration.”
Marzen adds, Perry’s preschool program is free for everyone at all three locations. Preschool registration night will run from 6-7 p.m. this Tuesday in the multipurpose room at Perry Elementary.
