Here’s a reminder for some upcoming weigh-in and tagging events as we close Extension Week in Guthrie County.

Next Saturday, April 28th, the Extension Office will be conducting two separate weigh-ins at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds. Swine will be from 8:30-10am and sheep and goats will weigh-in from 10:30am-noon. Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) and Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training must also be completed by Tuesday, May 1st to show at the county or state fairs. Finally all animals need to be identified online by Tuesday, May 15th to be eligible to show at the fairs.
