The first ever girls’ high school soccer victory for the Greene County girls took place on Saturday over Logan-Magnolia in Grand Junction by a 3-0 score. The Rams had scored just one goal in their first three games combined, before scoring three times vs. L0-Ma. The Rams are now 1-3 while the Panthers fell to 1-6 and they’ve had trouble scoring as well with just three goals on the season.

Coach Marilyn Tasler picked up her first victory with the Rams and Tasler’s granddaughter, Ashlee Harmeyer, had one of the goals Kassie Lamoureux and Aubrey Heubel had the  others. All three are sophomores.

“This should help restore their confidence a little bit,” Coach Tasler told Raccoon Valley Radio.
