The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
Sheriff Marty Arganbright will discuss the formation of a committee to pursue possible improvements to the current jail facility. Earlier this month, Carroll County Sheriff Ken Pingrey suggested the Supervisors consider forming the committee. He told the Board this particular structure greatly assisted Carroll County in pursuing improvements to their own facility.
Erick Van Cura with Guthrie Center Municipal Utilities will also make a presentation on public awareness for natural gas safety. Other action items include: a review of the Guthrie County Comprehensive Plan, a contract for a highway patching project, library contracts for the 2018-2019 fiscal year, and various quarterly reports. The meeting will conclude with a review of ongoing county property projects.
The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
