BTF 2018 Logo BWPreparations and planning continue to progress for this year’s Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson.

Festival Chair Emily Neese says they are trying to bring back the “old school” days of the festival. She points out that the theme, “Carnival Lights, Rockin Nights” centers around the main musical act for the Saturday night of the festival with Arch Allies, along with bringing back the carnival.

“We’re trying to play to all ages. From the little kids going to the carnival to the adults going to Arch Allies. So we’re trying (to) play all of those groups in between. (And) Trying to incorporate a few new things here and there but nothing too major and everything’s pretty much going to be the same.”

Neese says vendor applications are now available at the Greene County Chamber and Tourism office. She adds that Chamber members still receive a free booth space for the festival as well. Neese welcomes anyone who wants to volunteer or help with planning for the festival to come to their meeting later today at 4pm at the Jefferson City Hall Council Chambers.

The Bell Tower Festival will take place from June 8th through the 10th.
