Here are some yard waste disposal reminders for Panora residents.

When mowing in City limits, property owners should not blow grass clippings into the street. The Panora Police Department will check regularly that this regulation is being complied with. The City also reminds residents to keep leaves, grass clippings, trash, and fertilizers out of storm drains. Extra fertilizer, grass clippings, or dirt should be swept back onto the lawn. Finally, any plantings in the public right-of-way must be approved through City Hall prior to any planting being done.
