A reminder: time is running short to nominate individuals for the Wall of Witnesses in Perry.

Nominations must be submitted to the Perry Historic Preservation Commission and Hometown Heritage before Tuesday, May 8th. New nominees will be considered along with those from previous years, and whoever is selected will have the honor of being the 25th addition to the Wall. The honoree will have a relief sculpted in their image, which will be unveiled at a ceremony this September.

Nomination forms can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office, the Carnegie Library Museum, the McCreary Community Building, or City Hall. The Wall of Witnesses is located in Soumas Court in downtown Perry, and honors individuals who have made a positive impact on the community. For more information on the nomination process, contact John Palmer at 515-465-4160.
