While the West Central Valley girls track team finished in the middle of the final team’s standings of last week’s WCAC Relays, one Wildcat senior claimed conference bragging rights in her last competition against all the league schools. Grace Dupuy is the 2018 West Central Activities Conference champion in the shot put throw with a top toss of 38’1″. She edged AC/GC junior Madi McDermott’s top throw by over five inches. The rest of the WCAC field failed to reach 36 feet in the shot put competition. Dupuy also placed fourth in the discus throw with a top measured toss of 105’3″. The Wildcats as a team finished in sixth place out of 10 schools with 45 points. The Wildcat girls track team closes the regular season competing in the Blue Devil Relays tonight at Martensdale-St Mary’s High School.
