With the onset of spring and summer, many in Guthrie County are beginning to enjoy their favorite recreational activities. This includes fishing in area lakes and rivers. One of the many fishing options in Guthrie County is Lake Panorama
Lake Panorama Fin and Feather Member Scott Stanley gives some recommendations for those who are fishing on the lake for the first time. “Right now is one of the best times to go, the spring and fall. There’s less boat traffic (and) the water temperature is cooler… My main recommendation would be to fish just main lake points. Any points that you see extending out to the water with rocky shoreline, those 99% of the time hold fish.”
There are several types of fish stocked in the lake, including: large and smallmouth bass, crappies, walleye, and perch.
