The ACGC boys golf team couldn’t quite get their game up to par Tuesday, as they finished 9th out of nine teams at the West Central Activities Conference Tournament at Lake Panorama National Golf Course. Freshman Eli Kading had the best round of the day for the Chargers, carding a 94 and earning an 18th place finish individually.
Other Charger golfers included: Spencer Grove (102), Noah Wheatley (116), McKlain Jorgenson (117), Seth Danker (119) and Austin Hall (173). Des Moines Christian won the tournament with 321 strokes, while ACGC totaled 429. Medalist honors went to a trio of DMC Lions, with Drew Shisler placing first with a 73.
The Chargers will compete Friday at the West Central Valley Sectional at Menlo’s 5×80 Golf Course. First tees begin at 10am.
