The weather in early spring throughout central Iowa wasn’t very conducive to outdoor activities, with many needing to be rescheduled to a later date. One such event is coming up tomorrow, as Dallas County Hospital is hosting a 5K fun run.

The event is a collaboration between the Dallas County Hospital Foundation and Live Healthy Iowa. It was originally scheduled for April 14th, but was postponed due to inclement weather. The 5K will start in the hospital’s north parking lot and take runners all around Perry. Registration can be done on site, and will cost $25 for adults and $5 for kids. The adult run will start at 8 a.m., with the kids starting at 9. Additionally, the Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will be at the event, playing music and providing public address announcements.
