The thermometers have been trending upward, and that means local pools and aquatic centers are open for the season. The Stuart Aquatic Center is one of those facilities. The center is open from 11am-7pm Monday-Friday and 1-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Cost for admission is $4 for ages 4 and up, while children 3 and under are free. Unlike last year, the center will not be offering swim club this summer.
The official sign-up for lessons and pool passes started last week, however families can still sign up at City Hall and the price for a family swim pass is $125. Lesson prices are $30 for preschool, $45 for public, and $75 for private lessons. Contact the aquatic center during normal operating hours, or through their Facebook page, for more information on lesson schedules.
