Trinity Welch 29 of Boone was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

Friday, May 11th

A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 400 block of 16th Street North, Grand Junction.

A deputy assisted a motorist on 130th Street near Orchard Avenue.

Clay Paulson 21 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

A deputy investigated a child neglect complaint in the 700 block of School Street, Churdan.

A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1700 block of Quaker Avenue.

Michael Ventiecher 60 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for theft 5th degree.

The Sheriff picked up a 3-year- old that was found walking near 220th Street in Grand Junction and returned the child to their parents.

Ronda Pederson 21 of Lake City was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance marijuana and methamphetamine  st offense.

A deputy investigated a bullying incident in the 900 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction that happened at school.

Saturday, May 12th

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 2000 block of 190th Street.

A deputy removed a deer from the roadway in the 100 block of 210th Street.

A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 1800 block of 283rd Street.

A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident in the 500 block of Bell Street. Elizabeth Roper 16 of Churdan failed to yield in her 1998 Honda Accord and struck Nathaniel Byerly 26 of Churdan. Nathaniel was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. There was an estimated 2500 dollars damage to Elizabeth Ropers vehicle and Nathaniel Byerly’s vehicle. Elizabeth was cited for failure to yield.

Sunday, May 13th

A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street and W Avenue.

A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on N Avenue near the river bridge south of Jefferson.

A deputy investigated a theft of gas in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
