Adults and kids alike showed up on a brisk morning last Saturday to take part in the annual Dallas County Hospital Foundation and Live Healthy Iowa 5K Fun Run.

Organizers said they were happy with how the event went, though they said last year’s run had more participants. However, they most attribute that to the change in date. It was originally scheduled for April 14th, but had to be rescheduled because of inclement weather. With that factor in mind, DCH Foundation representatives were pleased to have more than 40 attendees for the adult 5K and the kids 1K.

The Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio also attended the event to provide music and public address services.
