A seemingly unassuming house on 3rd Street in Perry played host to many visitors Tuesday evening, as the brand new 3rd Street Suite was welcomed into the Chamber of Commerce and community with a grand opening open house and ribbon cutting.
The Chamber helped host the event, along with owners Bethany and Kevin Wicks. Attendees were able to tour the unique locale, which is a sort of cross between a bed and breakfast and a vacation house. Everyone was then brought outside, and the Chamber supplied the giant scissors to cut the ceremonial ribbon. 3rd Street Suite is located near downtown Perry, at 1407 3rd Street. The Wicks family completely remodeled the house, turning its four bedrooms into individually-themed sleeping quarters, furnished with items purchased at various stores around Perry. It also features two bathrooms, a kitchen, and an assortment of sitting rooms.
The Wickses see it as a potential locale for family trips, staycations, large gatherings, and more. To learn more about the 3rd Street Suite, or to book your stay, click the link below.
