9:07am: David McQuillen reported a Criminal Mischief occurring at 1402 Southfield Drive. It appeared a vehicle left the roadway and struck two mailboxes, causing damage to both.

11:25am: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 1000 Block of East Lincoln Way Street, resulting in Melvin Murken of Rippey being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

12:16pm: A Mental Health Advocate form Ames requested assistance from an officer with information about a juvenile female in Jefferson she was trying to locate. The officer provided her with the parent’s information. No further assistance was needed form the officer.

12:38pm: Subway, located at 104 North Elm Street, reported receiving the “Alliant Energy Phone Scam.” The caller requested payment for an overdue utility bill. The business recognized this as a scam and did not incur a loss.

1:45pm: Webster City PD requested assistance from a Jefferson officer in locating a subject in Jefferson. The officer made contact with the subject and instructed them to call Webster City PD.

2:30pm: A caller advised of Loud Music in the 100 Block of West Vest Street. The officer met with a subject in the area and had him turn down his stereo.

3:30pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of West Adams Street.

3:47pm: Two callers advised of a vehicle with two Hispanic males attempting to sell a generator in the northern part of Jefferson. Both callers gave the same vehicle information. The officers were unable to locate the reported vehicle.

5:16pm: Carroll County reported a Careless Driver on 220 h Street, heading east towards Jefferson. The officer and the deputy did not locate the vehicle.

6:18pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of West Adams Street.

6:18pm: A caller expressed concern about a female resident in the 1000 Block of North Cedar Street, who they had not seen in a while. The officer performed a Welfare Check and found the female to be fine.

8:56pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of West Adams Street.

10:33pm: An officer located an Unsecured Door in the 500 Block of Greenewood.
