The postseason run for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys soccer team will continue tomorrow thanks in large part to the efforts put forward by the squad’s seniors. ADM, who lost in last year’s substate semifinal round to Bondurant-Farrar, cleared their first postseason test Wednesday at home against the cooperative program of Iowa Falls Alden/AGWSR, 3-1. Registering goals for ADM are seniors Davis Barton, Dakota Kahler, and Eli Schwarzkopf. Schwarzkopf and Kahler also recorded one assist each and senior Herberto Ponce also facilitated a goal as well. Senior goalkeeper TJ Klocke tallied five saves and allowed a single goal in 80 minutes of match play. ADM welcomes the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs to ADM Stadium tomorrow for the Class 2A Substate 2 championship game with the winner representing the group at next month’s state tournament. The Tigers edged the Mustangs during their regular season meeting in Adel on April 23, 4-3. Kickoff of the Class 2A Substate 2 championship game is 12 p.m. from ADM Stadium in Adel. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will have a full recap of the game on Monday’s local sports page.
