The final results from the 2018 Class 2A Boys State Golf tournament are in, and Panorama sophomore Kolby Shackelford came away with All-State honors from the event. Shackelford, who started the day in a three-way tie for second place, finished the tournament as the runner-up medalist with a two-day score of 145. The top five placing golfers make up the annual All-State Boys Golf team. Dike-New Hartford senior Bo Weissenfluh is the 2018 Class 2A Individual Boys State Golf champion, besting Shackelford by one single stroke. The two were tied at the end of yesterday’s opening round at two over 72; Weissenfluh mimicked the performance Friday while Shackelford added one stroke to his final round. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will take a more in-depth look at Shackelford’s state tournament on this weekend’s local sports page.
