Wednesday, May 30th
5:11am: An officer checked on a Business Alarm Activation at 300 American Drive. The business was found to be okay.
11:40am: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street.
12:26pm: Susan Zaccone requested a Welfare Check on a male at 606 West Washington Street. No one was present at the residence.
12:49pm: An officer assisted a motorist having mechanical issues with his vehicle at 1207 North Elm Street.
1:41pm: Laura Harvey reported a Domestic Situation occurring at 108 East Central Avenue, Lot 66. The officer s arrived and made contact with the couple outside. The male was yelling and screaming and attempted to flee from officers. Jody Lyn Schad, 42 of Jefferson was taken to custody and transported to the LEC. He was later cited and released for, “Disorderly Conduct – Simple.” He was transported by EMS to ER from the LEC for a medical issue.
4:05pm: The GCMC ER called and advised a male patient had removed his IV and left ER on foot. The officers were unable to locate the male and could not force him to go back to ER if they had located him.
4:53pm: Karen Coffin reported a careless Driver had attempted to run her off the road in the 700 Block of North Cedar Street. She advised they were screaming at her brother about being owed money by him. The officers did not locate a vehicle matching the description given.
5:14pm: Barb Brooker reported two dogs on her property at 402 North Cedar Street. The officer contacted the owner of the animal and warned them about allowing the animals to leave their property in the future. They were given a specific time period to license the animals.
6:22pm: A caller advised of a female on the ground in the 700 Block of west Wall Street. Officers could not locate the reported female.
6:31pm: Officers assisted EMS with a Medical Call concerning the above-mentioned female at Maple and Clark Streets.
6:35pm: An officer arrested Rickie Eugene Tuhn, 57 of Jefferson on an outstanding Greene County Arrest Warrant for, “Failure to Appear.” The original charge was, “Harassment 3 rd Degree.”
7:10pm: An officer assisted the deputy with a motorcycle accident at 16424 220th Street.
7:15pm: Jennifer Ashby reported 50 motorcycles surrounding her trailer at 108 East Central Avenue, lot 66. Ashby advised the cycle gang was threatening to kill her and burn her home over an unpaid drug debt. Ashby was extremely intoxicated. The officer spoke to neighbors and learned one motorcycle had arrived at Ashby’s and had left shortly after arriving there. Charges are pending for Ashby for, “False Report to Officer.”
9:16pm: Linda Nichols spoke to an officer about a reported Theft of Change from her residence at 903 West Harrison Street a few weeks ago. In that report, Nichols had advised they would work out the issue with the parents of a juvenile in civilly. She did not want criminal charges. She had changed her mind and now wanted charges. The officer explained this was not possible and should have been done during the initial report if she wanted them.
10:21pm:, James Williams reported his motorcycle had been stolen from 702 North Cedar Street. He provided the officer with a suspect, who was the male involved with a motorcycle accident at 1910 hrs, at 16424 220th Street. It was Williams’ motorcycle in the accident. Future charges are pending upon completion of the investigation.
11:39pm: Michelle Madsen reported two juveniles threw an object at her car as she was driving south on South Elm Street in the 800 Block. The object did not strike her vehicle. The officers did not locate anyone in the area.
