Don’t forget: the annual Dallas County Sheriff’s Office All-Wheel Car Show is tomorrow.
Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard says the event will once again benefit the Special Olympics of Iowa organization, and in this milestone year he’s hoping for the biggest show yet. “This will be our 10th anniversary All-Wheel Show. Every year we put together a car show; well, we call it a car show, but it’s basically anything with wheels. You know, we have tractors, motorcycles, cars, trucks, about anything. We surround the Courthouse there in Adel, and a lot of the side streets will fill up.”
Leonard says people can still get involved with the All-Wheel show, whether it’s showing their vehicle or volunteering to help out, by contacting the Sheriff’s Office at 515-993-4771. The event will happen rain or shine tomorrow, starting with registration at 9 a.m. Judging will take place at 1 p.m., and awards will be presented by Special Olympic athletes at 3. Additionally, the Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will be at the show from 10 a.m. – noon. We will be broadcasting live, while also playing music, relaying important information, and providing public address announcements.
