The Greene County High School softball team was rained out of the Bondurant-Farrar tournament on Saturday. Coach Tom Kennedy’s team was to have played three games in that event, but the girls unexpectedly had the day off.

Greene County will try to rebound from Friday night’s 7-4 late inning loss at Nevada in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play when they host Roland-Story (Story City) tomorrow night at the City diamond on East Lincolnway. The Rams are 2-4 overall and 2-1 in the Conference while R-S began the season with four straight wins and is ranked number 11 by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union in Class 3A.

Monday’s game will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with coverage around 7 p.m. and first at approximately 7:30 p.m.
