There’s still time to register for an event introducing women to area agriculture. The 2018 Women in Ag Tour for Southwest Iowa is Friday from 9am-4:30pm. 

Guthrie County ISU Extension and Outreach Program Coordinator Mary Ebert talks about the day’s schedule. “We were one of the selected spots. We’re the southwest hub. We’ll be touring some different ag facilities, just getting on a bus that day and touring some of those and having lunch.”

The event will take participants to Early Morning Harvest in Panora, Lauritsen Cattle Company in Exira, and Veterinary Associates of Manning. Pre-registration is required and cost is $25 per person. Loading begins at 8:30am at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds and departs promptly at 9am.
