GCC-Spring/SummerThe Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will officially canvass the votes from last week’s Primary Elections. A recount is likely in at least one of the County Supervisor districts, as each of the three offices were separated by less than 20 votes. The Board will also look to approve and sign the Panora Communications Cooperative Service Contract.

The Board will also hear updates from several department heads, including: Conservation Director Joe Hanner, Environmental Health Director and Transfer Station Executive Director Jotham Arber, Sheriff Marty Arganbright, and Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson. The meeting will conclude with county property projects.

The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse in Guthrie Center.
