The annual Good Egg Days festival in Stuart begins on Friday. One of the many features during this year’s festival is the kids carnival on Friday night and all day on Saturday. Kids and families can purchase tickets at the festival for various rides and other carnival entertainment. There will also be one free inflatable from 1-4pm on Saturday.

Stuart Chamber of Commerce President Kristy Lonsdale talks about the new features for kids at Good Egg Days. “We do have another new thing called Zoo Plush Riding Animals that will be set up. They can get on (them) and actually ride around. They’re big stuffed animals that are motorized. We have a game trailer, Next Level Street Games, that’ll have Wii and laser tag, and just a whole bunch of kids games and things that they can go play with.”

Other children’s entertainment on Friday includes Egg-spress Barrel Train Rides from 5-6pm on the basketball court at Lawbaugh Park and the Kiddie Parade starting at 6. Saturday activities for the kids include: the Sand Pile Treasure Hunt from noon-5pm in the park, the Hanson Family Jugglers from 1-3pm at the gazebo, and the Myers Pedal Kiddie Tractor Pull from 1-4:30pm just north of the park.
