Wednesday, June 13th
12:20am: An officer located an open door at 701 West Wall Street.
1:01am: An officer located 3 open doors at 501 West Greenewood Road.
1:11am: An officer located an open door at 1700 North Elm Street.
1:16am: A female reported possible drug activity that was occurring in the city.
2:14am: An officer located an open door at 1500 North Mulberry Street.
7:50am: An officer responded to the Greene County Middle School (203 West Harrison Street) for a fire alarm activation. Everything was found to be okay.
8:19am: An officer responded to 1000 West Lincoln Way for a backing accident. Cassie Bednarik was backing out of a parking spot in her 2009 Toyota Highlander and struck a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali that was owned by Brad Nelson of Greenfield, Iowa. Neither party wished to have an accident report completed.
8:20am: Officers assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of East Russell Street.
12:40pm: Emily Crosman reported 4 females on the railroad tracks by North Pinet Street.
1:47pm: An officer assisted the Juvenile Court Officer with a urine analysis at the Greene County Courthouse (114 North Chestnut Street).
5:24pm: An officer responded to the 200 block of West Central Street for a traffic accident. Randall Lore of West Des Moines was driving his 1989 Volvo 240 westbound in the 200 block of West Central Street. Rhonda Rubens of Jefferson was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of West Central Street and North Elm Street. Randall was on his cell phone and struck the rear end of Rhonda’s vehicle. Both vehicles sustained $500 in damages. Randall was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control.
5:26pm: Jeffrey Regan spoke with an officer about a civil issue.
6:49pm: An officer responded to 1406 Southfield Drive for an abandoned 911 call.
10:07pm: Marty Wiedman reported a vehicle that was being driven by a Revoked driver.
11:01pm: An officer responded to 507 West Mahlon Street for an abandoned 911 call.
